Close Brothers Group plc announces today that it will be making charitable donations of over £100,000 to support the humanitarian rescue operation following the Asian Tsunami Disaster. The money will be given to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) which comprises a number of UK based non government organizations with international reach, namely Action Aid, British Red Cross, CAFOD, Care International UK, Christian Aid, Concern, Help the Aged, Merlin, Oxfam, Save the Children UK, Tearfund UK, and World Vision UK. All of these charities are active in the relief efforts following the Tsunami Earthquake.
